This site is designed to take posts and format and display the content on specific pages using categories.
The main categories are:
- Common Law displays on Common Law Page
- Docket displays on Docket Page
- Oaths of Office displays on Oaths of Office Page
- Pending Notices displays on Docket>Pending Notices Page
- Status Documents displays on Docket>Status Documents Page
Some Pages are Manually Built, they are:
- Home
- Founding Documents
- Info Links
- Membership
- Contact
- Administrator
- Filing Guidelines
- Privacy Policy
All of these pages require editing the actual page itself using the utmost caution so the current content is Preserved (Not Deleted).
One Page Common Law is a combination page which gets its static content from a theme builder template which can be edited via the Theme Builder within DIVI.
This Site Employs Secure Copy Protection which disables copying content directly from a post or page.

Process
Always Use best practices to avoid disasters
- Create a Backup Before Making any Changes to this Site.
- The site is dynamic meaning its gets its data from a database which makes everything look fine until you do the update, at which point the site crashes if you updated and created a conflict.
- To avoid the crash and burn possibilty all together, create a backup from the Dashboard Click on Updraft Plus > Backup / Restore.
- From the Updraft Backup Page CLICK Backup Now (Big Blue Button).
- When the backup completes you may now begin your changes and / or additions.
- The site does automatic backups weekly. So if you forget to make a backup and the site must be restored, it would have to come from an automatic backup. Automatic backups may not be current and may require manual entry to fully recover.
- If a Restore is required you should contact the site administrator to do it.
Creating A New Post Of Content for The Post Main Categories & pages
- From the Dashboard click on Posts > All Posts
- Look for a Draft Example Post with the Category you want to add too, move your cursor below the post title and click duplicate as a draft.
(Example Posts to Duplicate are Held as Drafts) - Edit the draft duplicates Title and Slug as well any content you need to change.
- Use the Excerpt Field to list each item included in the PDF, if you want custom formatting as is in the Pending Notices Category Page. Otherwise the system will generate its own from the first 320 characters in the Post Body without Formatting.
- Click Publish to Publish Immediately or Save Draft to Publish later.
Add or Edit Founding Documents & Info Links Pages
- To make changes to these pages requires you use the DIVI Builder. From the Dashboard Click on Pages > All Pages
- Choose Info Links or Founding Documents Page and Click Edit under the Page Title
- Now Use the skills you learned in the Divi Tutorial to copy and modify the Divi modules under the Services Sections of either Page.
- When you have completed all your changes Click the UPDATE button to save and write the changes to the web server.

Final Result
We all want our sites to look their best and maintain a high level of satisfaction from it’s users. With that in mind it is important to test any changes or edits you make to your site. WordPress has been excellent about making things easier then in the past with static code, however, this does not take away from the need of SMOKE TESTING to be sure the site didn’t Crash and Burn after your last update. Make sure you test the site after your additions or edits with multiple browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Safari) for desktop and the LT Browser for mobile and tablet screens.
